Their imagination belongs here.

Four- and five-year-olds are naturally curious. What happens if I mix these colors? What does this feel like? Can I make it this way instead? Young Artists gives them room to find out. Children explore materials, shapes, colors, textures, and creative ideas through playful, hands-on projects designed for the way young kids learn best. There is no single perfect result to copy.

We give kids enough guidance to feel successful — and enough freedom to make something their own.

What happens in Young Artists?

Children may:

  • Draw and paint
  • Explore color
  • Work with different textures and materials
  • Cut, glue, build, and shape
  • Practice fine-motor skills
  • Make creative choices
  • Experiment with new ideas
  • Create alongside other kids
  • Share what they made

The goal is not to make every project look the same. The goal is to help kids discover: “I can make something.”

More than art.

Creativity

Kids get to make choices, explore possibilities, and discover that their ideas matter.

Confidence

Every finished project gives a young child something they can point to and proudly say: “I made that.”

Independence

Children practice making decisions, using materials, following steps, and completing age-appropriate creative challenges.

Belonging

Creating alongside other kids introduces children to the joy of sharing a creative space, noticing one another’s ideas, and being part of a group.

Questions about getting started.

That is exactly why this age is such a wonderful time to create. We want kids to learn that they do not have to know how before they begin. They can try. Ask questions. Experiment. Make mistakes. And try again. Art gives young children a safe place to practice saying: “Maybe I can.”

Come make something.

The best way to understand Young Artists is to experience it. Come meet the teacher, explore the materials, and let your child see what happens when their imagination has room to grow.
