Confidence
Drums give students progress they can hear and feel. A groove locks in. A tricky pattern finally works. Their hands and feet start working together. Those moments help students believe: “I can figure this out.”
One-on-one drum lessons give students focused support as they develop rhythm, coordination, technique, and musical confidence. At Thrive, students learn how to play well — and how to listen, solve problems, work through challenges, and grow into more independent musicians.
Standard monthly tuition. A $75 annual family fee applies once per family. Ask our team about term options.

We help students build strong fundamentals while connecting those skills to real music.
Some kids want to learn favorite songs. Some want to join a band. Some want to improve coordination or timing. Some just love drums and want to get better. Private lessons give the teacher room to adapt the pace, focus, and goals around your child.

Drumming requires attention, listening, and control. Students learn how to stay with a pattern, notice what is happening, and keep going when something feels difficult.
Students can explore grooves, fills, sounds, improvisation, and their own rhythmic ideas. We want them to learn the technique — and then discover what they can do with it.
As students grow, they learn how to practice more effectively, identify what needs work, solve problems, and take more ownership of their progress.

No previous drum experience is needed. We start with the basics and build step by step, helping students experience early success while developing strong habits.
We’ll build from where they are. More experienced students may work on:
