Identity
Creative work gives teens a way to explore what matters to them and understand themselves more deeply.
Studio Artists gives teens a creative community where they can strengthen their technique, pursue ideas that matter to them, and create work with more independence and purpose. Students receive guidance and individualized feedback while developing their own artistic voice alongside other young creators.
Teen artists are ready for more than another step-by-step project. They have interests. Opinions. Ideas. Styles they are drawn to. Things they want to say. Studio Artists gives them space to explore those ideas while developing the technical skills needed to express them more fully.
Students may:
The teacher is not there simply to tell students what to make. They are there to help young artists take their ideas further.
Strong technique gives artists more options. But technical ability alone is not the goal. We want teens to begin asking: What interests me? What do I want to explore? What do I want my work to communicate? What feels like me? That is how an artistic voice begins to develop.
Creative interests can sometimes feel isolating. Studio Artists gives teens a place to be around other young people who enjoy making, experimenting, and thinking creatively too. They can:
They do not have to create the same way to belong together.
Creative work gives teens a way to explore what matters to them and understand themselves more deeply.
Students take increasing ownership of their projects, decisions, and growth.
They learn how to share ideas, receive feedback, take creative risks, and keep developing work that matters to them.
As students mature, they can encourage other artists, strengthen the studio community, and recognize that their perspective has something valuable to offer.
It may be a great fit if they:
They do not need to be planning an art career. They just need to care about creating.
Great. We can help them strengthen technique, develop more intentional work, explore portfolio-quality projects, and learn how to talk about their creative choices.
Also great. Not every creative pursuit has to become a career. Sometimes having a place to make meaningful work, express yourself, and connect with other creative people is reason enough.
Come meet the teacher, explore the studio, and experience a place where teens can create with more skill, ownership, and purpose.
Standard monthly tuition is $109. A $75 annual family fee applies once per family. Ask our team about available term options.
