Thrive Programs

Find the right creative experience for your child.

Every child is different. Some want to make music with friends. Some love to draw and create. Some want one-on-one attention. Some are ready to get on stage. At Thrive, there isn’t just one way to grow. Our music and art programs help kids build real skills while growing in confidence, creativity, and belonging.

Children exploring music at Thrive MiniKeys
Ages 4–5

MiniKeys

A playful first step into music. Kids explore piano, drums, singing, rhythm, movement, and more while learning how fun it can be to create with others. Along the way, they build confidence, listening skills, independence, and a love for making music.

Great for kids who:
Are curious about music and ready to explore.

Group Instrument Classes

Learn an instrument. Make music with friends. Kids develop real musical skills in a supportive group where they can ask questions, try new things, and learn alongside other young musicians. They don’t just practice an instrument. They learn to listen, collaborate, contribute, and grow together.

Great for kids who:
Want to learn an instrument and enjoy being around other kids.

Bands

Make music together. Thrive bands give kids the chance to play songs they love, create original music, collaborate with other students, and perform as a team. Students build musical skills while learning how to share ideas, solve problems, support one another, and find their own voice.

Great for kids who:
Love music, want to play with others, or are ready for a bigger creative challenge.

Group Art Classes

Make something that feels like yours. Our art classes give kids space to explore different materials, techniques, and ideas while developing their own creative voice. Students learn skills without being expected to make the exact same thing as everyone else. Because creativity isn’t about copying. It’s about discovering what you can create.

Great for kids who:
Love drawing, painting, making, imagining, and trying new things.

Private Music Lessons

Personal support for your child’s musical journey. Private lessons give students focused one-on-one attention while keeping their interests, goals, and creativity at the center. Students can grow their skills in:

  • Piano
  • Guitar
  • Voice
  • Drums
  • Bass

Whether they want to play songs they love, prepare to join a band, write music, perform, or simply get better at their instrument, we’ll help them build a path that fits.

Great for kids who:
Thrive with one-on-one support or want to grow more deeply in a specific instrument.

Not sure where to start?

That’s okay. Tell us a little about your child — their age, interests, and what they’re excited to try — and we’ll help you find a great place to begin.

What makes a Thrive program different?

We teach the child, not just the skill.

Music and art skills matter. But we believe the person learning them matters even more. That’s why every Thrive program is designed to help kids experience four things:

Identity

Who am I becoming? Kids build confidence, courage, self-awareness, and ownership as they discover what they can do.

Creativity

What can I create? Kids explore ideas, solve problems, experiment, and learn how to make something that feels like their own.

Belonging

Where do I belong? Kids build friendships, collaborate, encourage others, and discover that they have a place here.

Impact

How can I make a difference? As kids grow, they learn that their ideas, creativity, and actions can help other people grow too.

What does progress look like at Thrive?

Sometimes it’s learning a new chord. Sometimes it’s finishing an art project they’re proud of. But progress can also look like:

  • Raising a hand for the first time
  • Trying again after a mistake
  • Sharing an original idea
  • Performing in front of someone else
  • Making a new friend
  • Encouraging another student
  • Taking ownership of a project
  • Walking out of class excited to come back

We celebrate all of it. Because confidence grows one small step at a time.

Which program is right for my child?

You don’t have to figure that out alone. We’ll help you choose based on your child’s:

  • Age
  • Interests
  • Personality
  • Previous experience
  • Goals
  • Learning style

There’s no pressure to pick the “perfect” class. We’ll help you find a good starting point — and if it isn’t the right fit, we’ll help you find a better one.

New to Thrive?

Come see what it feels like.

The easiest way to understand Thrive is to experience it. Your child can meet the teacher, try the class, create alongside other kids, and see how it feels before you make a decision. No experience needed. Just come ready to create.

A place to belong. A place to become.

Your child may come to Thrive to learn music or make art. Our hope is that they leave with even more: More confidence. More courage. More creativity. More connection. And a stronger belief in what they can become.
